We aim to make receiving your tea as considered and reliable as the ritual itself.

Order Processing

All orders are packed with care and dispatched within 2 business days from the time your order is placed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

Shipping Within Australia

We currently ship Australia-wide.

  • Standard shipping: 3-7 business days, location dependent

  • Express shipping: 1-2 business days for metro regions, 3-4 business days for regional

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location and postal service delays.

Shipping Costs

We currently offer FREE standard shipping for orders over $50.

  • Standard shipping (orders over $50): FREE

  • Standard shipping (orders under $50): $15 flat rate

  • Express shipping (all order values): $20 flat rate

International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping. If you’re ordering from outside Australia and have questions, please contact us at hello@teatheory.com.au.

Sample Shipping

Orders containing only a sample/s are shipped for FREE within 2 business days in an envelope and do not have tracking. The shipping timeframe for sample only orders is 3-10 business days depending on location.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be sent via email. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

Delays & Delivery Issues

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, Tea Theory is not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, weather events, or factors outside our control.

If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at hello@teatheory.com.au, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Incorrect Address

Please ensure all delivery details are correct at checkout. If an incorrect address is provided and the parcel is returned to us, additional shipping fees may apply to resend the order.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos (if applicable), and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue.
